With the heavily manufactured Islamic State terror campaign continuing to burn its way across swaths of Iraq, the US are now debating air strikes in Syria to subdue the ISIS menace.
As the ISIS crisis gets ramped-up across the Western news cycle, the political agenda becomes clearer, as Western and NATO allies remain untouched, while continuing to dodge the finger of guilt for the proxy death squads they themselves have surreptitiously cultivated in large parts of the Middle East, along with their allies in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. It is certain, that this crisis is now offering Washington (and Tel Aviv) something they have not been able to achieve to date: a green light to launch air strikes inside Syria, presumable against ISIS, but the temptation for the US to use this opportunity to provide air cover for the FSA rebels in Syria, or even to hit Syrian military targets, may be too great. Given the change, they most certainly would.
The Islamic State of Iraq ‘terror-actors’ formerly known as ISIS, ISIL and now IS, have worked in tandem with US, Israeli and Gulf State policy objectives for quite some time now. This is even more evident in the pressurized ousting of Iraq’s recently deposed Shi’ite Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.

The death march in Iraq continues
On August 14th, 2014, Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki, ‘stepped down’ due to heavy pressure from Washington and its global allies. Even though he was essentially installed by the west originally, US and NATO interests have charged that the former Iraqi PM was “not an inclusive leader”, even though there are reports suggesting his popularity appeared to increase after 8 years in office, as he was said to have garnered 94 seats within the Iraqi parliament in late April. The former Iraqi PM was branded a “tyrant”, with a growing presence calling for his ouster, claiming his resignation would be in the best interest of Iraq, as Islamic State (ISIS or IS) extremists have been steadily gaining ground during an astoundingly bloody rise over the past year, while rapidly closing in on Baghdad. The terror network known more commonly known as ISIS has turned Iraq into a brutal breeding ground to be pitted simultaneously against Syria and other transnational targets such as Iran – all of which, directly benefit Western investments.
The impetus for the West to vilify the once lauded Maliki, seems to lie in the fact that he consolidated much of Iraq’s security and military forces over recent years, while simultaneously casting out US planners, in addition to excluding Sunni branches within the Iraqi government.
One thing is certain – The US, Israel and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) could not have a Shi’ite head of state in Iraq considering western war plans for both Syria and Iran. Washington and Tel Aviv could not bear to watch Maliki negotiate in good faith with Shi’ite allies in either Syria, or Iran. Earlier this year, Maliki did launch air strikes against ISIS along the Iraq-Syria border with the full consent of the Assad gov’t. Many believe that this was the beginning of the end for Maliki.
Much to the chagrin of Washington and its valued partners, Maliki blocked efforts to integrate US-approved Sunnis and Kurds inside of his government, this is what appears to have stalled the progress for the Western-NATO-GCC change. Some believe that ISIS is an insurance policy for the West and its transnational allies, leveraging the political landscape in Middle East for their hegemonic controllers.
Western policymakers had been greatly concerned with the power amassed by Maliki, while they themselves were covertly funneling arms and aid to FSA rebels during the heightened war theater in Syria, prior to the highly-engineered explosion of ISIS. In late June, this was further corroborated when Washington issued a money transfer approved by Congress to provide equipment to the Syrian opposition to the tune of $500 million, in addition to a $5 billion dollar request made by Obama in May. The US has also sought to expand the CIA/FSA training facilities that also have direct ties to ISIS in both Jordan and Turkey.
Here at 21WIRE, we noted that the Saudi Arabian backed Jihadist paramilitary group, “Front Victory” saw its first and second generation founders come out of the Islamic State of Iraq.
Other evidence that Maliki had become a thorn in the side of Western policy aims have also been noted, as he barricaded much of the US-neocon effort to control a Western vision for Iraq, specifically, the blocking of ripe oil deals in the Kurdistan region in northern Iraq. Media outlets lambasted Maliki for his role in the ousting of Sinan al-Shabibi, Governor of Iraq’s Central Bank, and Hussein al-Uzri, former head of Trade Bank, both of whom shared a personal relationship with Ahmed Chalabi, who through the Iraqi National Congress, provided much of the falsified information that prompted the US-led invasion in Iraq that began in March of 2003. Chalabi is said to have had a close connection with the now defunct neocon think-tank in Washington, Project for the New American Century (PNAC), along with its operational leaders.
Black blood prosperity leads to chaos
In addition to the unseated central bankers, Maliki inserted himself as a wedge between Western-Kurdish contract deals, creating a blockade for many oil companies, including Exxon Mobil and BP. However, the real political fallout for Maliki, may have come when his government openly supported Syria’s Assad, during a fiery period when the ‘chemical weapons’ narrative was to be the pretext for a Syrian invasion, until the evidence levied against Assad was proven to be fraudulent after multiple examinations. In a recent article for the New Eastern Outlook, global analyst and writer, Eric Draitser, discussed the Western-NATO-Israeli-GCC alliance that Maliki faced, in a piece entitled, “The Strange Case of Nouri al-Maliki,” confirming Maliki’s geopolitical standing:
“Undoubtedly, Maliki’s greatest sin in the eyes of US-NATO-Israel-GCC has been his steadfast support for Syria and Assad. Maliki refused to abandon Assad when the US-NATO war machine was gearing up to bomb Syria. He loudly proclaimed his support for Assad and his resistance to any attempts to coax and cajole Iraq into allying against him. In this way, Maliki affirmed the alliance of Tehran-Baghdad-Damascus-Hezbollah against the US-NATO-Israel-GCC axis of power, and in doing so put himself at the top of Washington’s enemies list.”
The push for a pressurized removal of Maliki, seems to lie in the fact that he simply could not be controlled by the US-NATO-Israeli-GCC nexus and would not support an unjust decision to invade Syria, couple that with blocking important gas and oil explorations, while promoting deals that were in Iraq’s nationalistic favor, you can see why the NATO-GCC would challenge Maliki’s rule. Others have suggested that the demise of Maliki’s leadership in Baghdad came when he officially backed the Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline which coincided directly with the proxy implosion of Syria after its initial memorandum was signed on June 25th 2011 in Bushehr:
“In late 2013, Maliki, along with Assad and Iranian authorities, participated in continued negotiations over the proposed Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline, which would bring Iranian and Iraqi gas to the Mediterranean via Syria, thereby giving those countries direct, overland access to the European market. Naturally, this was seen as a direct challenge to US ally Qatar and its dominance of the Middle Eastern gas trade to Europe. It should be noted that it is no mere coincidence that the eruption of the war in Syria coincided perfectly with the initial negotiations over the proposed pipeline.”
In 2009, there was also the controversial West Qurna 2 oil contract between Iraq, Russia and Norway, was secured by Russia’s Lukoil and Norway’s Statoil, with both countries winning the right to develop in the area. On July 1st, Maliki had met with Lukoil officials in Moscow to discuss existing energy deals and future ones as well. Its clear that this deal was an economic threat to the Western-Israeli-GCC conglomerate. In an article for Fox News, It was stated that “Maliki’s visit to Moscow coincided with Russia staging an informal summit of gas exporting nations that will include the participation of the leaders of Venezuela and Iran,” no doubt upsetting Western alliances. Curiously, Business Week published a timely if not prophetic piece in June, entitled,”A Violent End to Iraq’s Brief Economic Rebound,” outlining much of the economic success of Iraq in recent years, even though the country has been perpetually mired in chaos:
“After eight years of war and decades more of economic sanctions, Iraq had made progress rebuilding its energy industry. In 2012 it passed Iran to become OPEC’s second-largest oil producer, behind Saudi Arabia. This spring, Iraqi oil production hit a 35-year high at 3.4 million barrels a day. Government oil officials talked about being able to produce as much as 9 million barrels a day by 2020. Iraq’s borrowing costs were down; economic growth was up. Earlier this year the International Monetary Fund forecast that Iraq’s economy would grow 6.3 percent this year and 8.25 percent by 2016, the fastest of all 22 economies it surveyed in the region.”
The propagandized death march of ISIS will undoubtedly benefit from a Maliki-less Iraq, as it will stoke an already lit flame between the Sunni and Shia factions, something the transnational corporations will take full advantage of in regards to energy deposit claims in future - further fracturing Iraq with engineered proxy wars, while exploiting the sectarian divide.

The political firebrands in Iraq won’t end in the aftermath of Maliki’s forced resignation, in fact things will most assuredly get worse for a country already embroiled in an apparent hostile takeover of black-clad Sunni extremists. Maliki’s successor, Haider Al-Abadi, also a member of the Islamic Dawa Party in Iraq, was exiled for some 20 years and some suggest he has intelligence ties to Britain, as he was said to have received a PHD at the University of Manchester, which has been known to be an Alma Mater of intelligence operators.

There has been a media firestorm over the Islamic State radical terror thugs, as Western outlets have been busy displaying dramatic pictures of mass-executions as ‘evidence’ of their takeover in Iraq, their bizarre victory parades, the heavily staged video productions, along with their online merchandising campaign blamed for funding their rise. The ‘ISIS Crisis’ is a multi-layered narrative that is partly real and partly fiction and is being used as yet another pretext to ramp-up military budgets and security threats throughout Europe and the US. Most of the ‘mass execution’ images put forward by the media have long since been exposed as a fraud but this hasn’t stopped US-European media ‘experts’ or US State Department and UK Foreign Office officials from continuing to fraudulently push this seemingly cooked up terror narrative.
This past week, there were reports of ISIS recruiter’s handing out highly-stylized propaganda leaflets to encourage those living in London to relocate to Syria and Iraq to join the Islamic State. Some investigative reporters believe this to be the work of MI5, as they have been said to be linked to the well-known intelligence mole Omar Bakri. In a recent Daily Mail piece discussing the ISIS linked street pushers, there were accounts of those passing by speaking out against the notorious terror troupe:

Israel’s role in Middle Eastern ‘Death-theater’
Reports of Israel’s involvement during the wave of ISIS seemed to coincide with the Israeli bombing campaign in Gaza, which has left some 2000 people dead – and counting. This is a very one-sided conflict and it has become polarized by Western media, all the while, obscuring Israel’s shadowy relationship with ISIS terrorists, as well their timely Kurdish oil deals.

In a report earlier this summer, I discussed how Israel does have a central role in this current Iraqi death-theater and they are effectively supporting the unprecedented rise of The Islamic State in Iraq, who have clearly made critical advances since Israel’s air strikes on Syria in late June, as ISIS militants allegedly shot a rocket from the border of Syria knowing that Israel would return the favor with a bombing campaign of their own and in the process, they would provide air coverage for the terror group as the made there way further into Iraq’s Kurdistan regions.

In June of 2014, here at 21WIRE reported that an SCF Altai tanker delivered a large amount of Kurdish oil to Israel for the very first time, this would link ISIS as a partial Israeli creation, as Israeli oil shipments are coming over from ‘terror controlled’ oil field’s in Iraq. An Israeli energy ministry declined to comment on the crude oil deal with the Kurdish Regional Government. It should be stated that Iraq has boycotted Israel and has no official oil contract with them and given the tension between the Kurds, it seems very fitting that Israel would exploit the crisis by seeking a business opportunity, as the Kurdish region also made its first oil shipment to the international market, bypassing the central Maliki government in Baghdad while the PM was still in power. The Kurdish-Israeli oil deal is described in a Forbes news cycle,“the tanker SCF Altai transferred a cargo of Kurdish oil from another tanker United Emblem, which had been plying the Mediterranean for two weeks after loading at the Turkish port of Ceyhan. The SCF Altai then docked at the Israeli city of Ashkelon and off-loaded its crude,” as the deal was crafted in the middle of a heavy conflict zone in Iraq, with Israel deciding to seal a business arrangement with the Kurdish Regional Government, knowing that their oil could have be hijacked by ISIS militants.
How is it that Israel was able to craft a successful delivery of Kurdish oil in a hot war zone, one threatened by the hostile terror group ISIS?
It was also noted in a Reuter’s news release, that the Kurdish oil market is set to explode soon and capable of producing a million barrels of oil a day, coinciding directly with the masked ISIS militants in the region:
“A joint venture of Anglo-Turkish company Genel Energy and Sinopec’s Addax Petroleum is working to ramp up production in the Taq Taq oilfield, Iraqi Kurdistan’s largest, to 140,000 bpd by the end of this month. After months of fruitless talks with Iraq’s central government, the KRG in May started to export crude on its own independent pipeline to the Turkish Mediterranean export terminal of Ceyhan. The KRG pipeline is located at a distance from the areas controlled by Islamic militants.The move has infuriated Baghdad, which claims the sole authority to manage Iraqi oil. It has cut allocations to the KRG in the budget and has tried to block KRG’s oil sales by taking legal action. So far, 7.8 million barrels of Kurdish oil have flowed through the independent pipeline, of which 6.5 million have been loaded onto tankers for export.”

This begs the question: why would ISIS care about how many enemies it creates, if they’re acting independent of Western-Israeli allied expansion?
There is a precedent for Israeli involvement with insurgent groups and terror networks as a recent news report from Times of Israel this August, stated that a “Free Syrian Army commander, arrested last month by the Islamist militia Al-Nusra Front, told his captors he collaborated with Israel in return for medical and military support.” Al-Nusra Front, is of course known to be backed by Saudi-intelligence, as they are in fact an Al Qaeda affiliate and they are seemingly interchangeable with FSA rebels, as both have recently found to be working in tandem, reports NY news outlet Algemeiner, this past May:
“The Wall Street Journal reports that the Syrian Revolutionaries Front, an FSA element, has teamed up with Jabhat al-Nusra in recent weeks in attempts to capture strategic hilltops in Syria’s southwestern Quneitra province overlooking the Israel-held Golan Heights.“
Israel has never admitted to arming Syrian rebels and they declined to comment on the Times article quoted above.

War games & a ‘strategy of tension’
When considering the Middle Eastern serrated jigsaw puzzle, the fog of conflict begins to clear up after you made to connections between the US, its allies and terrorism. This was further emphasized when it was made public that Abu Bakr al-Baghdad was fingered as the main ISIS leader, a man with direct ties to Al Qaeda as a Sunni insurgent leader during the invasion of Iraq in 2003. He was eventually captured and held by the US, and then for some unexplained reason – he was released in 2010, perhaps under intelligence supervision, with some reports even linking him to Israel. Capturing and control to figureheads of the international terror syndicates is a high priority for US, British and Israeli intelligence, and its a practice thy have have been engaged in for many decades. To think that it’s not happening now would be the pinnacle of ignorance, but its that ignorance govt’s rely on to carry on shaping and disrupting geopolitics.
Other developments in recent weeks have been contradictory, particularly the strange rescue scenario in the Yazidis mountains, a mission that was abruptly called off by the Pentagon shortly after efforts by special forces. We must also take note of the US airstrikes that failed to take out any significant ISIS leadership, while Peshmerga sat idly on the sidelines allowing ISIS to remain in control of the Mosul Dam on Iraq’s Tigris River.
Then there is the new UN resolution 2170, which is seeking to place sanctions on those found to be arming or financing Islamic extremists, and has called for an immediate halt on any arms to rebel factions. This should be a considered an escalation of the UN’s involvement, in this highly theatrical production and any findings they have, will not incriminate any top leaders in the US-NATO-Israel-GCC alliance. Will this also apply to the US and NATO’s support of the Syrian Rebels, or Saudi Arabia and Qatar’s bankrolling of terrorist brigades ISIS, al Nusra and al Qaeda in Syria and Iraq?
All of this comes on the heels of recent reports stating that an American photojournalist named James Foley has allegedly been executed by ISIS, which would be a tragedy, if it turns out to be true. Many have questioned the authenticity of video footage obtained, which features a heavily edited HD production of Foley’s death. This latest story along with other future designs, will be used as a pretext to drum up more support for a full invasion in Iraq, as the neocons are salivating for another shock and awe campaign in Iraq, while eyeing Syria.

“Undoubtedly, Maliki’s greatest sin in the eyes of US-NATO-Israel-GCC has been his steadfast support for Syria and Assad. Maliki refused to abandon Assad when the US-NATO war machine was gearing up to bomb Syria. He loudly proclaimed his support for Assad and his resistance to any attempts to coax and cajole Iraq into allying against him. In this way, Maliki affirmed the alliance of Tehran-Baghdad-Damascus-Hezbollah against the US-NATO-Israel-GCC axis of power, and in doing so put himself at the top of Washington’s enemies list.”
The push for a pressurized removal of Maliki, seems to lie in the fact that he simply could not be controlled by the US-NATO-Israeli-GCC nexus and would not support an unjust decision to invade Syria, couple that with blocking important gas and oil explorations, while promoting deals that were in Iraq’s nationalistic favor, you can see why the NATO-GCC would challenge Maliki’s rule. Others have suggested that the demise of Maliki’s leadership in Baghdad came when he officially backed the Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline which coincided directly with the proxy implosion of Syria after its initial memorandum was signed on June 25th 2011 in Bushehr:
“In late 2013, Maliki, along with Assad and Iranian authorities, participated in continued negotiations over the proposed Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline, which would bring Iranian and Iraqi gas to the Mediterranean via Syria, thereby giving those countries direct, overland access to the European market. Naturally, this was seen as a direct challenge to US ally Qatar and its dominance of the Middle Eastern gas trade to Europe. It should be noted that it is no mere coincidence that the eruption of the war in Syria coincided perfectly with the initial negotiations over the proposed pipeline.”
In 2009, there was also the controversial West Qurna 2 oil contract between Iraq, Russia and Norway, was secured by Russia’s Lukoil and Norway’s Statoil, with both countries winning the right to develop in the area. On July 1st, Maliki had met with Lukoil officials in Moscow to discuss existing energy deals and future ones as well. Its clear that this deal was an economic threat to the Western-Israeli-GCC conglomerate. In an article for Fox News, It was stated that “Maliki’s visit to Moscow coincided with Russia staging an informal summit of gas exporting nations that will include the participation of the leaders of Venezuela and Iran,” no doubt upsetting Western alliances. Curiously, Business Week published a timely if not prophetic piece in June, entitled,”A Violent End to Iraq’s Brief Economic Rebound,” outlining much of the economic success of Iraq in recent years, even though the country has been perpetually mired in chaos:
“After eight years of war and decades more of economic sanctions, Iraq had made progress rebuilding its energy industry. In 2012 it passed Iran to become OPEC’s second-largest oil producer, behind Saudi Arabia. This spring, Iraqi oil production hit a 35-year high at 3.4 million barrels a day. Government oil officials talked about being able to produce as much as 9 million barrels a day by 2020. Iraq’s borrowing costs were down; economic growth was up. Earlier this year the International Monetary Fund forecast that Iraq’s economy would grow 6.3 percent this year and 8.25 percent by 2016, the fastest of all 22 economies it surveyed in the region.”
The propagandized death march of ISIS will undoubtedly benefit from a Maliki-less Iraq, as it will stoke an already lit flame between the Sunni and Shia factions, something the transnational corporations will take full advantage of in regards to energy deposit claims in future - further fracturing Iraq with engineered proxy wars, while exploiting the sectarian divide.

Another Western puppet
The political firebrands in Iraq won’t end in the aftermath of Maliki’s forced resignation, in fact things will most assuredly get worse for a country already embroiled in an apparent hostile takeover of black-clad Sunni extremists. Maliki’s successor, Haider Al-Abadi, also a member of the Islamic Dawa Party in Iraq, was exiled for some 20 years and some suggest he has intelligence ties to Britain, as he was said to have received a PHD at the University of Manchester, which has been known to be an Alma Mater of intelligence operators.

ISIS, IS & homeland terror propaganda
There has been a media firestorm over the Islamic State radical terror thugs, as Western outlets have been busy displaying dramatic pictures of mass-executions as ‘evidence’ of their takeover in Iraq, their bizarre victory parades, the heavily staged video productions, along with their online merchandising campaign blamed for funding their rise. The ‘ISIS Crisis’ is a multi-layered narrative that is partly real and partly fiction and is being used as yet another pretext to ramp-up military budgets and security threats throughout Europe and the US. Most of the ‘mass execution’ images put forward by the media have long since been exposed as a fraud but this hasn’t stopped US-European media ‘experts’ or US State Department and UK Foreign Office officials from continuing to fraudulently push this seemingly cooked up terror narrative.
This past week, there were reports of ISIS recruiter’s handing out highly-stylized propaganda leaflets to encourage those living in London to relocate to Syria and Iraq to join the Islamic State. Some investigative reporters believe this to be the work of MI5, as they have been said to be linked to the well-known intelligence mole Omar Bakri. In a recent Daily Mail piece discussing the ISIS linked street pushers, there were accounts of those passing by speaking out against the notorious terror troupe:
As Asmaa Al-kufaishi, tweeted: ‘This group are promoting ISIS on Oxford Street. Racially abused us when we spoke out. They don’t know Islam.
‘Promoting death of innocent people, telling me to die because of my faith and race and insulting me is not Islamic behaviour.’

Israel’s role in Middle Eastern ‘Death-theater’
Reports of Israel’s involvement during the wave of ISIS seemed to coincide with the Israeli bombing campaign in Gaza, which has left some 2000 people dead – and counting. This is a very one-sided conflict and it has become polarized by Western media, all the while, obscuring Israel’s shadowy relationship with ISIS terrorists, as well their timely Kurdish oil deals.

In a report earlier this summer, I discussed how Israel does have a central role in this current Iraqi death-theater and they are effectively supporting the unprecedented rise of The Islamic State in Iraq, who have clearly made critical advances since Israel’s air strikes on Syria in late June, as ISIS militants allegedly shot a rocket from the border of Syria knowing that Israel would return the favor with a bombing campaign of their own and in the process, they would provide air coverage for the terror group as the made there way further into Iraq’s Kurdistan regions.

In June of 2014, here at 21WIRE reported that an SCF Altai tanker delivered a large amount of Kurdish oil to Israel for the very first time, this would link ISIS as a partial Israeli creation, as Israeli oil shipments are coming over from ‘terror controlled’ oil field’s in Iraq. An Israeli energy ministry declined to comment on the crude oil deal with the Kurdish Regional Government. It should be stated that Iraq has boycotted Israel and has no official oil contract with them and given the tension between the Kurds, it seems very fitting that Israel would exploit the crisis by seeking a business opportunity, as the Kurdish region also made its first oil shipment to the international market, bypassing the central Maliki government in Baghdad while the PM was still in power. The Kurdish-Israeli oil deal is described in a Forbes news cycle,“the tanker SCF Altai transferred a cargo of Kurdish oil from another tanker United Emblem, which had been plying the Mediterranean for two weeks after loading at the Turkish port of Ceyhan. The SCF Altai then docked at the Israeli city of Ashkelon and off-loaded its crude,” as the deal was crafted in the middle of a heavy conflict zone in Iraq, with Israel deciding to seal a business arrangement with the Kurdish Regional Government, knowing that their oil could have be hijacked by ISIS militants.
How is it that Israel was able to craft a successful delivery of Kurdish oil in a hot war zone, one threatened by the hostile terror group ISIS?
It was also noted in a Reuter’s news release, that the Kurdish oil market is set to explode soon and capable of producing a million barrels of oil a day, coinciding directly with the masked ISIS militants in the region:
“A joint venture of Anglo-Turkish company Genel Energy and Sinopec’s Addax Petroleum is working to ramp up production in the Taq Taq oilfield, Iraqi Kurdistan’s largest, to 140,000 bpd by the end of this month. After months of fruitless talks with Iraq’s central government, the KRG in May started to export crude on its own independent pipeline to the Turkish Mediterranean export terminal of Ceyhan. The KRG pipeline is located at a distance from the areas controlled by Islamic militants.The move has infuriated Baghdad, which claims the sole authority to manage Iraqi oil. It has cut allocations to the KRG in the budget and has tried to block KRG’s oil sales by taking legal action. So far, 7.8 million barrels of Kurdish oil have flowed through the independent pipeline, of which 6.5 million have been loaded onto tankers for export.”

Here’s an excerpt from Rudaw news report which displays the blossoming relationship between Israel and the Kurds, that further advocates divide in Iraq:
“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave the most explicit endorsement yet to Kurdish statehood. Speaking at Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies, Netanyahu said: “We need to support the Kurdish aspiration for independence. They deserve it.” He also called the Kurds “a nation of warriors, that have proven their commitment to political moderation, and they’re worthy of their own political independence.”
Below is a recent VICE news dispatch video near Erbil, we see the West’s fascination with fabricated war correspondence, as ISIS is revealed to be friendly with Kurdish forces…“They don’t want to create enemies for themselves all over the place” – Peshmerga on ISIS
This begs the question: why would ISIS care about how many enemies it creates, if they’re acting independent of Western-Israeli allied expansion?
There is a precedent for Israeli involvement with insurgent groups and terror networks as a recent news report from Times of Israel this August, stated that a “Free Syrian Army commander, arrested last month by the Islamist militia Al-Nusra Front, told his captors he collaborated with Israel in return for medical and military support.” Al-Nusra Front, is of course known to be backed by Saudi-intelligence, as they are in fact an Al Qaeda affiliate and they are seemingly interchangeable with FSA rebels, as both have recently found to be working in tandem, reports NY news outlet Algemeiner, this past May:
“The Wall Street Journal reports that the Syrian Revolutionaries Front, an FSA element, has teamed up with Jabhat al-Nusra in recent weeks in attempts to capture strategic hilltops in Syria’s southwestern Quneitra province overlooking the Israel-held Golan Heights.“
Israel has never admitted to arming Syrian rebels and they declined to comment on the Times article quoted above.
This same idea was also illustrated in another article by analyst Eric Draitser, where he detailed the historical context of Western-terror connections:
“As early as 2011, the US CIA was involved in an elaborate and widespread program to covertly arm militant extremists in Syria in order to overthrow the government of President Assad. As the New York Times and other media outlets reported in 2012, the CIA was working with the Muslim Brotherhood and other groups along the Turkish-Syrian border to funnel weapons, communications equipment, and other military materiel to terrorist groups at war with Damascus. Despite vehement claims by Washington that only ‘moderate rebels’ were receiving such support, it is an open secret that much of those supplies ended up in the hands of then-ISIS, which already by 2012 was beginning to establish itself as a dominant fighting force in the Syrian war.”
War games & a ‘strategy of tension’
When considering the Middle Eastern serrated jigsaw puzzle, the fog of conflict begins to clear up after you made to connections between the US, its allies and terrorism. This was further emphasized when it was made public that Abu Bakr al-Baghdad was fingered as the main ISIS leader, a man with direct ties to Al Qaeda as a Sunni insurgent leader during the invasion of Iraq in 2003. He was eventually captured and held by the US, and then for some unexplained reason – he was released in 2010, perhaps under intelligence supervision, with some reports even linking him to Israel. Capturing and control to figureheads of the international terror syndicates is a high priority for US, British and Israeli intelligence, and its a practice thy have have been engaged in for many decades. To think that it’s not happening now would be the pinnacle of ignorance, but its that ignorance govt’s rely on to carry on shaping and disrupting geopolitics.
Other developments in recent weeks have been contradictory, particularly the strange rescue scenario in the Yazidis mountains, a mission that was abruptly called off by the Pentagon shortly after efforts by special forces. We must also take note of the US airstrikes that failed to take out any significant ISIS leadership, while Peshmerga sat idly on the sidelines allowing ISIS to remain in control of the Mosul Dam on Iraq’s Tigris River.
Then there is the new UN resolution 2170, which is seeking to place sanctions on those found to be arming or financing Islamic extremists, and has called for an immediate halt on any arms to rebel factions. This should be a considered an escalation of the UN’s involvement, in this highly theatrical production and any findings they have, will not incriminate any top leaders in the US-NATO-Israel-GCC alliance. Will this also apply to the US and NATO’s support of the Syrian Rebels, or Saudi Arabia and Qatar’s bankrolling of terrorist brigades ISIS, al Nusra and al Qaeda in Syria and Iraq?
All of this comes on the heels of recent reports stating that an American photojournalist named James Foley has allegedly been executed by ISIS, which would be a tragedy, if it turns out to be true. Many have questioned the authenticity of video footage obtained, which features a heavily edited HD production of Foley’s death. This latest story along with other future designs, will be used as a pretext to drum up more support for a full invasion in Iraq, as the neocons are salivating for another shock and awe campaign in Iraq, while eyeing Syria.
What will be next in the boiling chaos of the Middle East…
